Welcome back the light - pack of solstice cards

Initially designed as a Solstice card, these notecards have come to mean a lot more. They have been sent as recovery cards, and as an acknowledgment of tough times.

Each card has received a custom background treatment -- ink reclaimed from old print jobs as part of the clean-up process. The words are hand-set in vintage metal type (Bodoni ultra, and Bodoni ultra italic) that is showing a bit of wear -- the perfect match for the sentiment printed on the card. They are all printed in silver ink that, depending on the light, masks or highlights the message. Difficult to capture in photographs, but subtle and beautiful in-hand.
