Custom Letterpress - Commissions, Posters, and Stationery
In our Devon workshop, we print using restored vintage printing presses and the finest British recycled papers. Each piece showcases traditional letterpress printing – a hallmark of authenticity in an increasingly digital world.
What We Create
Each year, we accept a limited number of bespoke commissions for businesses and institutions who value quality letterpress work. Our most successful projects include:
Shop Commissions – Custom notebooks, cards, and branded materials for independent retailers who want something special for their customers.
Institutional Projects – Larger commissions for universities, organizations, and businesses.

Project Minimums: £400 for individual commissions, £200 for shop orders. Lead time is typically one month.
Please note: We don't take on single-item commissions (such as individual greeting cards, or creating a print of your hand-drawn art work).
Our Process
1. Initial Consultation – Contact us with your idea, including quantities, size, timeline, and budget. Being upfront about constraints helps us give you the best advice.
2. Project Assessment – We'll let you know if your project suits our capabilities and current schedule, or if it might be better suited to one of our workshops.
3. Design & Quote – Once we agree on timing, we'll create initial sketches and provide a detailed cost breakdown.
4. Production – Work begins with a 25% non-refundable deposit. You'll receive progress updates and pay 50% when we start printing.
5. Completion – Final 25% payment is due within 30 days of shipping your finished prints.
