Our lovely friend, Matt Holmes, agreed to let us make these posters of one of his fantastic quips in exchange for teaching him how to do bad printing. We love bad printing at Princetown Press. For us, it means hand-inked, texture-rich, incredible surface design that is virtually impossible to reproduce from one print to the next. The term was coined by mizdruk and Amos Kennedy. One day I hope to be as bad as they are.

  • Fount: vintage wood type, and newly cut sorts from British maker, Type High Design
  • Ink: hand inked using vintage midnight green, jobbing black (Hawthorn Printmakers), and white inks (Hawthorn Printmakers)
  • Limited edition of 15 variable prints. Each one is unique.
  • Year of production: 2024.

All of our papers are recycled, and British where possible. We can provide you specific details on certifications each paper has, and the mill where they were made.
