Set of four hawthorn greeting cards
Four original botanical prints with letterpress back. Hand numbered, edition of 33. The text on the back is the same that's on our hawthorn broadsheets, with a card dedicated to each of the history, lore, botany, and ink production.
Each of these four themes is represented on the front with an original ink specimen. There are four designs in total:
- Unmodified hawthorn ink - light red
- Iron modified hawthorn ink - black circle over light red
- Iron modified hawthorn ink - light red circle with black "sprinkles"
- Iron modified hawthorn ink with citric acid - light red circle, with grey/brown beard with white "stars"
Each card is an original, so what you see here is a representation of what you will receive.
Cards are individually wrapped in a protective bio bag for safe transport. Optionally, packaged in a box, perfect for gifting.
All of our papers are recycled, and British where possible. We can provide you specific details on certifications each paper has, and the mill where they were made.
