Set of four oak greeting cards
Four original botanical prints with letterpress back. Hand numbered, edition of 50. The text on the back is the same that's on our large format botanical specimens, with a card dedicated to each of the history, lore, botany, and ink production.
Each of these four themes is represented on the front with an original oak ink specimen. There are four designs in total:
- Unmodified gall ink - ochre circle with iron "highlights" (black)
- Iron modified gall ink - black circle
- Iron modified gall ink with baking soda - black circle with pinks and sometimes oranges
- Iron modified gall ink with citric acid - black circle with white "snowflakes"
Comes in a black sleeve, perfect for gifting. Each card is an original, so what you see here is a representation of what you will receive.
