Print Your Own Posters - Workshop in Devon, England

Protest, affirmation, large swears, we've printed 'em all, and now we'll teach you how to do the same. You will have full access to our collection of wooden founts to print your own A3 posters. We'll design in the morning, and print in the afternoon. This is a full day workshop, and you will have time to print up to 10 posters. We think posters make a great gift.

What's included:

  • One-to-one support to design your poster, including typeface, and ink selection.
  • All supplies, including paper to print 10 large posters.
  • Full day in the workshop, with full access to our printing supplies.
  • Coffee/tea/cake/lunch are provided (we'll pop out for lunch to one of the local cafés in the village; the cost is included).
  • You are welcome to bring a friend or family member at no additional charge. Please let us know at the time of booking if there will be one or two people attending.
  • Accommodation can be arranged separately with our marvellous neighbours at Tor Royal B&B or Dartmoor glamping. Links open in a new window.

It's okay if you've never printed anything before. Most of our students are first-timers at the press. We'll walk you through everything you need to know (and leave out the stuff you don't need to know).

The workshop is open to everyone, however, there is not an accessible toilet on-site. Participants under the age of 18 will probably benefit from having an older family member or guardian present. The presses are designed to be used while standing, and there is limited seating. Please get in touch if you like to talk through any accommodations that might improve your experience in the studio, or if you have any other questions or concerns about the workshop or facilities.

The workshop is held at our workshop in Princetown, Devon, England. The space is unheated, so please dress warmly if you are booking a workshop during the colder months.

Workshop participants will have access to 15% off all Princetown Press products during their time at the studio.

The workshop is held at Duchy Square in Princetown. The venue is
wheelchair accessible, but the presses are designed to be used while standing and there is limited seating. Please get in touch if this will be challenging for you, and we can talk through what accommodations might improve your experience in the studio.

We will do everything we can to accommodate vulnerable workshop participants. This includes masking, keeping the window open, and having hand sanitiser available. You may be asked to wear a mask whilst in the workshop. We hope this is not an imposition, but if it is not possible for you to wear a mask, please book a private workshop instead.

Yes! Private workshops are available, and are a great option for friends, couples, and families.

The studio is tiny. We cannot accommodate more than four people working on a maximum of two projects. If your group is more than two people, please think carefully about how your group works together in tight spaces before registering.

Yes, kids are welcome! Generally speaking, the older the kids, the more likely they'll have the attention span for a multi-hour workshop. You know your little ones best, though.

To book a private workshop: register here, and we'll be in touch to find a mutually suitable date (generally the lead time is 2-3 months). If we can't agree on a date, you will receive a full refund. Once the date is agreed in writing (email), the standard cancellation policy will apply.

If you're not sure, please reach out *before* you book a private workshop.

Princetown Press reserves the right to cancel a workshop.

We require at least 3 days notice of cancellation to receive a full refund. Any cancellation less than 3 days prior to the workshop, will receive a workshop credit good for 60 days for any available workshop of equal value.

If you are more than 45 minutes late, you will be considered a “no show” and it will be too late to receive a refund, workshop credit or begin typesetting & printing at this point.
