Adana Troubleshooting Session - Workshop in Devon, England

  • £5.00

Can't figure out how to make your Adana print? Bring it along for this practically free workshop, and we'll do our best to get you up and running. We'll look at what parts you might need to buy, we'll help you to level your platen (it's okay if you don't know what that means), and generally give you some cheerleading and support so that you can get started on your journey as a letterpress printer.

You MUST bring your own Adana for this workshop. This is not a printing workshop, it's an MOT for the press you've already got. Participants will also be encouraged to join the British Printing Society to further their Adana education.

Note: the price is not a typo. The cost for this half-day workshop really is five pounds (£5.00). We love print so much that we'd love to help you get up and running.

Our studio is small, but mighty, so class size is limited to two people.

It's okay if you have no idea how to use your printing press. Bring it along, and we'll figure it out together.

The workshop is open to anyone, but printers under the age of 18 will probably benefit from a custom workshop with their family members, so please get in touch before registering someone who is under 18 years old.

The workshop is held at our workshop in Princetown, Devon, England. The venue is wheelchair accessible, but the presses are designed to be used while standing and there is limited seating. Please get in touch if this will be challenging for you, and we can talk through what accommodations might improve your experience in the studio.

Workshop participants will have access to 15% off all Princetown Press products during their time at the studio.

The workshop is held at Duchy Square in Princetown. The venue is

We will do everything we can to accommodate vulnerable workshop participants. This includes masking, keeping the window open, and having hand sanitiser available. You may be asked to wear a mask whilst in the workshop. We hope this is not an imposition, but if it is not possible for you to wear a mask, please book a private workshop instead.

Yes! Private workshops are available, and are a great option for friends, couples, and families.

The studio is tiny. We cannot accommodate more than four people working on a maximum of two projects. If your group is more than two people, please think carefully about how your group works together in tight spaces before registering.

Yes, kids are welcome! Generally speaking, the older the kids, the more likely they'll have the attention span for a multi-hour workshop. You know your little ones best, though.

To book a private workshop: register here, and we'll be in touch to find a mutually suitable date (generally the lead time is 2-3 months). If we can't agree on a date, you will receive a full refund. Once the date is agreed in writing (email), the standard cancellation policy will apply.

If you're not sure, please reach out *before* you book a private workshop.

Princetown Press reserves the right to cancel a workshop.

We require at least 3 days notice of cancellation to receive a full refund. Any cancellation less than 3 days prior to the workshop, will receive a workshop credit good for 60 days for any available workshop of equal value.

If you are more than 45 minutes late, you will be considered a “no show” and it will be too late to receive a refund, workshop credit or begin typesetting & printing at this point.

Full day: 10AM - 4PM
Half day: 10AM - 1PM
