No "L" card

Not everyone understands this card. It features the alphabet, but without the L. Making it a No "L" (pronounced Noël) card!

These cards are the epitome of thoughtful, hand-made work. The letters are arranged on the proofing press and locked into position. They are then inked by hand in deep red. The card is then placed onto the inked wooden letters, and the roller passed over the card to take the impression.

The fount, Penny Farthing, was originally designed by Bob Newman in 1974. In 2022, it was expertly digitised by Mathieu Triay. We one of only two print studios around the world to feature this incredible type face.

• Press. Printed by hand on a 1960s Stephenson Blake galley proofing press; and Adana table-top press (c. 1970s).
  
• Paper. 280gsm in "oatmeal" with a gorgeous fleck. Recycled using 100% post-consumer materials
